Maths Eyes
Developing Maths Eyes is about seeing maths all around us. Having Maths Eyes changes the view of mathematics as being something everyone just does in school. With maths eyes people see the mathematics they do every day so mathematics becomes real and meaningful. More information can be found at: www.haveyougotmathseyes.com/the-maths-eyes-concept/.
As part of Maths Week in Bray School Project, First Class will complete the Maths Eye challenge for their homework. This involves taking a picture which shows an element of maths and putting a caption on it. This could be a picture of a house that asks the question: What Shapes do you see? Or a flower bed and: What pattern do the flower colours create? Some examples can be seen at: www.haveyougotmathseyes.com/maths-eyes-winning-entries-2016/
