What is the Parents and Guardians Association Committee?

Parent-Guardian AssociationAll parents and guardians of Bray School Project NS are automatically members of the Parent-Guardian Association (PGA). The PGA plays an important role in school life by fostering a sense of community, supporting school initiatives and providing a forum for parents and guardians to share ideas, discuss issues of interest and contribute to the ongoing development of the school.
A PGA committee is elected annually from among the parent and guardian body and works closely with the school throughout the year. The committee supports a range of activities and initiatives, including fundraising, community events, PGA Wellbeing sub-committee, and school improvement projects.
A staff representative liaises with the PGA to help maintain strong communication and collaboration between home and school. The PGA is also affiliated with the National Parents Council, which provides training, guidance and support to parent associations across Ireland.
