Class 8 2023-2024
From Caterpillars to Butterflies
We have spent the last few weeks caring for and feeding these beautiful creatures as we watched them develop from tiny little caterpillars to beautiful Red Admiral butterflies that we released at the end of April. It has been amazing to watch them grow, make their chrysalis and then transform into butterflies. We have fed them lots of sugar, fruit and nectar to help the butterflies gain enough energy to fly off. We were sad to say goodbye but delighted they were strong enough to spread their wings!
It's been a busyTerm 2
Spring flowers, On the Farm Night & Day and Light and shadows are just some of the topics we have been learning about in Class 8 this term.
