The Bray School Project Association is governed by an Executive Committee elected by its members at the Annual General Meeting. The Association continues to fulfil its responsibilities as Patron while the patronage transfer process is underway.
Over more than four decades, the Patron has played an important role in supporting the development of the school, safeguarding its equality-based ethos and ensuring that the founding vision of the school continues to guide its work. The Patron appoints representatives to the Board of Management and works in partnership with the Board, staff, parents and the wider school community to support the ongoing development of the school.
As a founding member of the Educate Together movement, Bray School Project has always shared a close relationship with Educate Together and its commitment to equality, inclusion, democratic participation and respect for diversity. The school is currently in the process of transferring patronage to Educate Together, reflecting the strong alignment between the school's ethos and the Educate Together Charter. AGM 2018 - The beginning of the transferal of patronage
Bray School Project has a long and close association with Educate Together and was one of the founding schools of the movement that helped establish equality-based education in Ireland.
In 2018, the Bray School Project Association reached an important milestone when members voted overwhelmingly in favour of applying to transfer patronage to Educate Together. This followed a period of research, consultation and discussion within the school community.
At the Patron's 2017 AGM, members agreed to establish a Patronage Working Group to explore the possibility of transferring patronage and to provide information to the wider school community. The Working Group subsequently undertook extensive research and consultation and, on 10th February 2018, hosted an information session for parents, guardians and members of the school community. The session included presentations on the role of a school patron, the supports provided by Educate Together, and the implications of a potential patronage transfer.
The vote held at the 2018 AGM represented a significant moment in the school's history and reflected the strong alignment between the ethos of Bray School Project and the values of Educate Together. Since then, the patronage transfer process has continued, with significant progress made in partnership with Educate Together and the Department of Education. The school is now in the final stages of the patronage transfer process.

In order to comply with the Company Law Act 2014, an Extraordinary General Meeting was held on Monday 26th February 2018 at 8pm in the school to replace the Memorandum and Articles of Association with a new Constitution based on the Charities Regulatory Authority template. This was passed unanimously.
